Yes indeed, The Local Bars are far better ones. Actually I was looking for some good entertaining place to visit along with friends at weekends. I found a great list of nightclubs at Beer Garden. On this website I found some very nice Beer Gardens' list as well as Pubs and Night Clubs. It has certainly provided me with a bundle of options now.

Local bars are no doubt the best. I'm moving to Dallas soon and won't settle until I find an apt. within walking distance of AT LEAST one cool bar.

Anyways, coming from the local desk at thenewsroom.com, you have a great local blog. Come check us out if you ever need great free content for it.

Great pictures! I learned about the Steinway mansion in James Barron's book "Piano: The Making of a Steinway Grand". I hope the new owner takes good care of the place.

Glad you could make it down to the East Village! I enjoyed your reflection on an evening's activities and it reminds me that I need to re-visit Grassroots.

All the best,

I just wanted to say hello to my lovely and talented friend, Tracey. Tracey is the maestro of this blog. It looks great, my love! I need to move to New York so I can take advantage of this. Don't move. I'll be there as soon as I can.
